Download for best results

Once downloaded, i-DRR works without an internet connection.

Download i-DRR to your phone, tablet, laptop or other device and you can use it anywhere.

On Android mobile devices, access i-DRR through your browser, download the content in your preferred language and "add to homescreen".

Upgrade to use all the features

To use i-DRR offline and search for advice you may need to upgrade.

This tool works best in the latest version of major browsers. That is Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.

Apple users

i-DRR works fully on iPhones and iPads with iOS 12+. You can upgrade easily upgrade your version of iOS.

The easiest way to upgrade is via your device settings. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and follow the instructions to download and install the latest operating system.

Microsoft users

Internet Explorer does not support all features of this app. Please download either of the following browsers:

Finding the tips you need

Sections group related advice cards together.

Cards describe tasks or processes and how to make them inclusive.

Search for words (e.g. 'latrine' or 'ramp') for suggestions of cards giving you tips and advice.

Add cards to your Favourites page.

i-DRR conforms to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.

Background

CBM Global developed this tool and organised its contents by compiling good practices and guidance from many organisations working in the DRR sector as well as disability-specific organisations.

CBM Global feels this tool values and spreads existing knowledge, across the DRR sector.

CBM Global maintains and updates i-DRR regularly, and supports translation into further languages.
